What we are / want to be.
- Maintain a loose affiliation with USENIX. Organize in an
informal manner without formal bylaws, and lead by a volunteer
planning group of 3 to 8 members.

- Consist of BOTH users and system administrators.
- Openly encourage and invite new participants of all levels of
expertise and experience.
- Provide a degree of camaraderie and commiseration in a group
setting with a technical as well as social atmosphere.
- Promote a learning environment through discussion panels, vendor
presentations, and open group discussions on hardware, software,
and general user issues and experiences.
